Process for obtaining Encumbrance Certificate ( EC ) online from Andhra Pradesh 

Encumbrance certificate is a Computerized document for property transaction of free title of Ownership, it is used for any People can buy a property from another person, or Sell a property to another both are checking these property Previous transaction for know genuineness of property. The Stamps and Registration Department has provided these transaction details known as Encumbrance certificate ( EC ) .People can get Encumbrance Certificate (EC) from Sub register office ( SRO ) , All Registration transaction details available from SRO, mantined recorded information ledger’s , People can verify the records and know the genuineness. Present these details available through online. People can get it from the years of 01st Jan 1983 to till . as per SRO recorded.

Two types of Encumbrance certificate ( EC) available online, Signed EC online and unSigned EC through online. Unsigned EC available openlink in the website,Citizen’s can get any time from IGRS AP official website. Signed EC available for register users only. Both processes will be explained in steps.


Process for Search Encumbrance certificate online

  • Citizens can Visit  IGRS AP official website http://registration.ap.gov.in/
  • Then you’ll see Encumbrance Certificate (EC) on the right side of the Menu from the Website.
  • Click on “Encumbrance Search ( EC ) “ option,
  • It will be redirected to another Page , read the all instructions before to proceed  and click on “ Submit “ Button,
  • Here the Encumbrance Certificate ( EC) Search through ( Document Number, Memo Number or Nono ) 

  • Select the option if you choose to Search Encumbrance certificate ( EC ) online,
  • Enter the year of Registration in the second option
  • Enter the SRO name a few later, the system will fetch SRO details automatically in the option,
  • Enter the Captcha in the option and Click on “Submit “ button,
  • Click on “Next” Button for forward to another step,
  • Now Property details will be displayed , if you need to enter Applicant Enter in the EC than choose or ignore,
  • Select the period of   search EC online and enter the captcha in the option, 
  • System will show the document ID’s to show the Encumbrance certificate, if you need to choose , you want to Check Encumbrance certificate online, Tick mark it, and click on “Submit” button.
  • Finally Encumbrance Certificate will be generated online
  • Click on the “Print “ button  for if you want to print out.




Process for get Signed Encumbrance certificate online


  • Citizens can Visit the IGRS AP official website,
  • Click on “Online EC” option in the Home Page,
  • Here you need to user’s account for access service, Click on “Member registration” option  for registration and enter your details in the registration form ( Name , Mobile Number, Adhaar card no, Email ID, Communication Address )
  • Enter  User ID & Password, if you choice and click on “Submit” Button
  • After the registration process is completed, you’ll receive a mail from IGRS in the register mail, you're eligible to access your account.
  • Now you can download “Signed Encumbrance certificate ( EC ) online

Process for get Certified copy ( CC ) online from Andhra Pradesh

Certified Copy (CC) of registered documents available for all citizens who have fixed property, it will be obtained by the legator only during their lifetime. After his death any person may get Certified copy (CC)  on showing of death certificate. Certified copy ( CC ) available on IGRS official website, follow the Steps.

  • Click on “Online CC” option in the Home Page,
  • Enter your “ District Name , SRO in the option,
  • Enter your “ Registered Document no and Year of registration “ in the option,
  • Enter the “captcha” and click on “Submit” Button, 
  • Finally you will get “Certified copy (CC) online.

Process for get Registration Details online from Andhra Pradesh


People can also check their registration details online , IGRS AP has Provided facility for any Person can Check Registration Details through their Registration Document No, follow the steps for getting registration status online.
  • Click on “List of Transactions ” option in the Home Page,
  • Enter your “ District Name , SRO ( Sub register office ) in the option,
  • Enter your “ Registered Document no and Year of registration “ in the option,
  • Click on “Submit” Button,
  • Finally you will get “Registration Details “ online.
